Intuit Staff Product Manager, Payments in MOUNTAIN VIEW, California
Overview
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to join our Point of Sale (POS) team and own the strategy and execution for critical areas within our POS products. These products are essential to enabling small and mid-market businesses to accept in-person and remote payments through intuitive, mobile-first solutions.
Today, POS is closely integrated with QuickBooks Payments, helping merchants seamlessly connect in-person and digital payment experiences with their financial workflows. Over time, these capabilities will support broader merchant use cases, expanding how and where Intuit helps businesses get paid and buyers complete purchases.
In this role, you will own end-to-end product experiences within the POS ecosystem — spanning merchant and seller workflows and the associated consumer experience when completing a payment. You will balance near-term delivery with longer-term product strategy, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality, intuitive solutions. This role sits within one of the company's most important and fastest-growing areas and will play a meaningful role in driving Intuit's long-term growth.
Responsibilities
Define and drive the product roadmap for a key POS domain, aligning investments with business goals and merchant outcomes.
Lead discovery and delivery of experiences that reduce friction at the point of sale, delight merchants and buyers, and unlock new commerce use cases across in-person and remote payment scenarios.
Leverage AI to unlock new capabilities and connected experiences across the POS ecosystem that weren't easily possible before.
Design high-quality, end-to-end product experiences spanning merchant workflows, seller-facing interfaces, and the consumer-facing moments of completing a payment.
Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Legal, and Go-to-Market to navigate trade-offs between merchant experience, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements — driving alignment through clear written and verbal communication
Take a data-driven approach to execution by defining success metrics around growth, engagement, monetization, and our broader payments strategy
Qualifications
Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Math, or a related discipline)
Proven Track Record: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within high-complexity consumer or B2B commerce, payments, POS, or fintech environments.
Technical Fluency: Comfort engaging in architecture and design discussions around B2B2C ecosystems, payment processing systems, hardware/software integration, APIs, and data pipelines; ML/AI experience is a strong plus.
Customer Obsession: Demonstrated ability to translate customer pain points into delightful, high-trust product experiences.
Domain Expertise: Experience in payments, point of sale, or commerce is a strong plus.
Strategic Execution: Ability to build durable execution plans from ambiguous customer needs, moving fast while maintaining a high bar for quality and merchant trust.
Leadership and Grit: Demonstrated history of taking on increasing scope, driving end-to-end ownership, and delivering measurable results in complex, cross-functional environments.
