Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security posture of Amazon Web Services (AWS) across multiple work streams. Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively. Deploy and maintain security guardrails to prevent future incidents. Analyze and assess trends in emerging threats to stay ahead of potential risks. Work closely with various AWS teams to ensure the overall security of AWS. Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures. Continuous Improvement and Innovation. Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the security posture. Contribute to the development of internal security tools and automation processes. Communicate security risks, incidents, and mitigation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepare and present regular security status reports to management. Collaborate with customers and partners to address security concerns and ensure compliance with security requirements. Mentor junior security team members.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $183,000/year to $247,600/year.

Basic Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and two years of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) communicating complex security risks, incidents, and mitigation strategies across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders; (2) developing internal security tools and automation processes; (4) experience identifying common security risks, developing, and executing comprehensive security strategies; and (5) delivering cross functional projects and working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.#0000
