  • Deep understanding of the global mobile landscape, including carrier dynamics, retail trends, and the competitive positioning of premium mobile devices.

  • Ability to influence without authority across a complex internal matrix—building consensus across product, marketing, and finance teams.

  • Ability to comfortably engage and negotiate with C-suite executives at major carriers.

  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex, multi-billion dollar global deals.

About the job

As the Managing Director (MD) for Pixel Mobile Products Partnerships, you will be responsible for managing complex, multi-billion dollar relationships with mobile carriers and national retailers. You will be accountable for delivering top and bottom-line commercial results and ensuring Pixel products achieve maximum reach, adoption, and brand loyalty in highly competitive markets.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $269,000-$374,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year GTM partnership roadmap, managing a multi-billion dollar P&L impact and helping achieve our global growth and market share targets.

  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for US/Mexico telco and national retailer partners, negotiating large-scale commercial agreements.

  • Direct regional sales forecasts, demand planning, and target allocation processes to ensure flawless channel launch readiness and inventory health.

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams to align global partnership strategies with regional execution, ensuring joint promotional programs maximize ROI.

  • Identify and evaluate emerging market opportunities and innovative partnership models to accelerate Pixel’s global footprint and commercial success.
