Job Description:

Purpose:

Safely and accurately, manufacture the required component as detailed in the shop sheets

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Read, understand and interpret shop sheets and job drawings
• Assemble and mark pipe according to shop sheets.
• Drill pipe, grease spring and place in pipe.
• Weld gear ends and fasten.
• Safe operation Overhead Crane and Drill Press
• Make material pulls
• Visually inspect parts for defects; replace parts that do not meet quality specifications. Perform all quality checks on material produced.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understand, interpret and utilize blueprints / drawings.
• Welding skills
• Use of torches
• Ability to use hand tools and read a tape measure with accuracy.
• Computer knowledge

Qualifications:

*Education:       * High school diploma or GED equivalent

                           Technical / Vocation School

*Experience:     * 6 months to 1 year of previous related manufacturing experience

Licenses/Certification: Welding Certification / In house

• Overhead Crane
• Grinder
• Hand Tools

Training Requirements:

• General Quality Compliance
• General Safety Awareness
• Overhead Crane operation
• Use of Torches

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Safety glasses
• Hardhat
• Hearing protection
• Metatarsal safety shoes
• A-4 cut resistant gloves
• A-3 cut resistant sleeves
• Welding Helmet, sleeves and gloves required when welding.

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where the associate is frequently required to work in hot and / or humid conditions, with or without climate control.

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, sharp objects and moving carts and vehicles.

Our new team members are starting at $20.00 to $23.00 with an additional shift differential of $1.50 /hour for working 2nd or 3rd shift and $2.00/hour for 4th shift

1st Shift 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

2nd Shift 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

3rd Shift 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

*4F Shift (Fri-Sat-Sunday) 7:00 am to 7:00 pm 4M Shift (Sat-Sun-Monday) 7:00 am to 7:00 *
