Inn Hospitality Associate Mount Vernon Inn The Inn Hospitality Associate supports daily operations at a small boutique inn. Responsibilities include assisting with breakfast service, cleaning guest rooms, laundry, light gardening, and providing friendly guest interaction. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in maintaining beautiful spaces, and can work independently while delivering warm hospitality. Key Responsibilities
- Guest Interaction
- Greet guests during breakfast service
- Answer basic questions about the inn and local area
- Maintain a welcoming and professional presence
- Breakfast Service
- Assist with breakfast service
- Replenish food and beverages
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas after service
- Housekeeping
- Clean guest rooms and bathrooms to inn standards
- Make beds and restock amenities
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas
- Laundry
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels
- Maintain laundry room organization
- Property Care
- Assist with light gardening and outdoor upkeep
- Help maintain attractive outdoor spaces for guests
Qualifications
- Friendly and comfortable speaking with guests
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and pride in cleanliness
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and remain active during shifts
- Hospitality or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- Primarily morning and daytime hours
- Weekend availability required
- Work Location: In person
- Full Time and Part Time positions available
- First Shift
- 16-40 hour per week
- Wednesday-Saturday
