Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a Production Supervisor for a metal and assembly manufacturing facility. This role involves coordinating schedules, meeting production quotas, training production associates and assemblers, and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures. You will be responsible for tracking production and department goals, completing paperwork, and ensuring accurate documentation. This position reports to the plant manager and involves overseeing and leading a team of 10-12 employees.
Responsibilities
Coordinate production schedules and ensure quotas are met.
Train and supervise production associates and assemblers.
Implement and follow safety protocols and procedures.
Track production and department goals.
Complete paperwork and ensure accurate documentation.
Report directly to the plant manager.
Oversee and lead a team of 10-12 employees.
Essential Skills
Production supervision experience.
Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Experience in manufacturing assembly.
Strong supervisory skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Any education or certifications related to the manufacturing and production industry is a bonus.
Work Environment
This role is for the 2nd shift, working from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Mount Vernon, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
