Adecco US, Inc. Engineering Technician in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support test environment development and manage SMT production processes in a high-volume manufacturing setting. This role sits within the Engineering Department and offers hands-on exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Engineering Technician will play a key role in optimizing test processes, maintaining testing equipment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test environments and procedures for PCBA products
Manage and optimize SMT production line test capacity and utilization
Program, operate, and maintain testing equipment including ICT, Flying Probe, and X-ray systems
Perform detailed failure analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
Monitor testing station performance metrics and implement process improvements
Provide technical training and support to operators on equipment usage and testing procedures
Lead and support new product introduction (NPI) validation activities
Coordinate and execute preventive maintenance programs for test equipment
Support daily production troubleshooting and issue resolution
Participate in PFMEA activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field preferred
2–3 years of hands-on experience in PCBA manufacturing and testing required
Experience with SMT processes and advanced test systems strongly preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
