What You’ll Do
As an Engineering Cell Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of product creation—supporting both day-to-day production and long-term technology development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assemble fuel cell components and subassemblies following engineering drawings and work instructions
Perform fabrication processes including coating, stacking, sealing, and alignment
Operate manufacturing tools, instrumentation, and test stations
Conduct functional testing, inspection, and data collection
Accurately record measurements and production data (MES and batch travelers)
Identify defects, equipment issues, and process deviations—supporting root-cause analysis
Participate in yield improvement, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
Partner closely with engineers, quality teams, and manufacturing operations to hit production goals

Essential Skills
Experience with testing, measurement, or quality control
Comfortable using tools such as calipers, multimeters, and gauges
Interest or familiarity with fuel cells, batteries, ceramics, or high‑temperature systems
Additional Desired Qualifications
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
2+ years of industry experience OR relevant internships, lab work, or hands-on project experience
Experience in cleanroom, laboratory, pilot production, or manufacturing environments
Exposure to ISO, SPC, quality systems, or root‑cause problem solving
Interest in process scale‑up and early-stage manufacturing operations
Work Environment
You will work in a hybrid manufacturing + laboratory production setting. Expect hands-on interaction with precision equipment, industrial tools, and high‑temperature systems. Proper PPE is required, and occasional overtime may be needed during production ramps.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
