Job Title: Shift TIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Shift TIG Welder to join our team, specializing in MIG welding on steel parts and aluminum with thin gauge material. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints and shop diagrams and have experience with metalworking machinery.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on steel parts and aluminum thin gauge material.
Read and interpret blueprints and shop diagrams for fabrication.
Cut pipe, tap, and drill parts as needed.
Grind own parts and band up steel.
Engage in fabrication tasks using sheet metal.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of MIG welding experience.
Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and shop diagrams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with metalworking machinery is ideal.
Experience with TIG projects throughout the year is beneficial.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with possible flexibility in hours after gaining tenure. The facility spans 32,000 sq. ft., featuring a 20-foot high bay and two 5-ton overhead cranes. The shop is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable working environment. There are no set production goals, but the expectation is to weld numerous pieces of sheet metal throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
