Job Description:

Microchip Technology Inc. is a market leader in designing, manufacturing, and marketing Frequency Control, Sensor, and Hybrid Product solutions using the latest cutting-edge techniques. For over 70 years, the Mount Holly Springs facility has provided solutions for Satellite Constellations, Deep Space Exploration Missions, Military Systems, GPS, Communication Networks, and much more. On-the-job training is provided! We are fully invested in our employees and will provide you with the tools, resources, and support you need to be successful.Essential Responsibilities:

Identify, read, and interpret process documentation to perform a variety of automated testing

Interpret basic test data to determine pass / fail test results

Operate basic test equipment (multi meter) and automated test systems

Basic soldering of surface mount components

Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic or product testing

Quality and safety minded

Detail-oriented and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Basic PC skills, math skills, and product knowledge

Basic electronic / electrical knowledge or understanding

Good written and verbal communication skills

High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred:

Associates degree in technical field

Schedule:

M-F, 7am-3:30pm

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $17-$32.69.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
