Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops including working with bins and augers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate center pivot irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and primarily John Deere self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as sprayer, planter, combine, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, soybeans, corn; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools. While a CDL is not required for the job, some workers hired under this job order may already possess or obtain one. Must speak and understand English
