Osmose Utilities Services Engineering Intern in Moultrie, Georgia

Osmose is seeking an Engineering Intern at our Moultrie, Georgia office, to work with our engineering team that provides a variety of engineering services to electric utilities across the United States. The services range from design (substation, transmission line, etc.) to planning (short and long-term construction work plans, system, coordination, etc.) to field inspection services.

What you will do:

As part of your Intern experience at McLean, you will:

• Immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of an engineering services company that focuses on electrical distribution

• Learn the stages of substation and transmission line engineering process

• Collaborate with team members to coordinate and drive projects forward

• Visit sites to see the engineering process in action

• Exposure to a variety of electrical distribution projects including overhead, underground and substation design

What you will need:

• The ability to learn quickly, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic

• A passion for design and creative problem-solving

• Current enrollment in a junior or senior college-level Engineering program

• Willingness to participate in a background check and drug screening program

• An 8-10 week commitment with scheduling somewhat flexible around your summer plan.

• To be located in Moultrie, Georgia

• An opportunity to stay in company provided housing if needed
