Job Summary** We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Clerk specializing in accounting to join our supply chain and warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory data, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting procurement and logistics processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working with various inventory management systems and data analysis tools. Your efforts will help streamline operations, optimize stock control, and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Compute accurate inventory records through data provided by scale operations and department data
- Reconcile discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to identify issues affecting inventory accuracy.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives related to materials handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supervisors and team leads, logistics, and production planning to ensure accuracy in inventory counts.
Skills - Excel and 10 key calculator knowledge is required for this position.
- Ability to work 42-45 per or more as needed weely; during training longer hours may be required.
- Position requires good adherence to work schedule (can't miss a lot of unscheduled days in this position).
- Excellent data analysis skills with attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements for inventory control.
- Strong organizational skills combined with attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary.
