Brief Description of Duties:
SUNY Morrisville seeks candidates for the full-time position of Head Women's Basketball Coach. Coaching duties include management of the college's NCAA Division III Women's Basketball team including recruitment and retention of team members, practice and game preparation, scheduling, and travel needs. The position is responsible for the hiring and supervision of Women's Basketball staff in the program. The position will have a secondary duty outside of coaching in the athletic department which will help with the day-to-day operations or game-day management for the department. SUNY Morrisville competes in the State University of New York Athletic Conference. This position is a temporary position with the option for renewal. Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Strong knowledge and understanding of NCAA Women's Basketball rules and regulations
Preferred:
Previous NCAA coaching experience
Familiarity with New York and regional recruiting
Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
