Job Summary:
We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our residents. As an LPN at Morris View Healthcare Center, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care, ensuring our residents receive the best possible outcomes. Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments
Conduct routine vital sign checks, monitor resident conditions, and report changes to the nursing staff
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and communication
Perform lab tests, take vital signs, and administer medications as ordered by the physician
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and continuity of care
Requirements:
Current LPN license in the state of New Jersey
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Minimum of 0 years of experience; new graduates welcome to apply
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Proficiency in electronic medical records and technology
