Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Cell Operator, where you will be stationed at a designated 'Cell' to guide rubber products through the production cycle for the automotive industry. The process is straightforward and consistent across different cells, involving simple yet repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Fill molding tools with raw material, placing metal rings into slots.

  • Flip the tool onto the machine for molding and prepare the next tool.

  • Remove molded tools from the machine and use an air brush for cooling.

  • Inspect finished products for defects such as air bubbles or rips.

  • Document production details including operator logs and maintenance activities.

  • Conduct quality checks using provided guidelines and tools.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift 35 pounds 30 times per hour.

  • Capability to stand for the entire shift outside of breaks.

  • Adherence to safety and quality standards using provided PPE.

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Enthusiasm for the opportunity.

  • No more than two jobs in the last six months.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled facility with designated shifts. First shift runs Monday-Friday, while second and third shifts offer a differential pay rate. Enjoy paid breaks without leaving the facility, and adhere to a no-smoking policy during work hours. Dress comfortably in shorts and regular shoes with PPE provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.55 - $23.55/hr.
