Solstice Advanced Materials Market Development Lead, Mobile AC (North America) - Remote in Morris Plains, New Jersey
Use your deep knowledge of customers, the industry, and competition to identify and pursue opportunities to grow Solstice Advanced Materials Mobile AC business globally. You will develop strategies to gain new customers in current/new markets and work in a 3-in-a-box approach with sales and technology. You will have a deep understanding of our value proposition and know why customers buy. You will lead ideation validation to drive growth in new segments. You will Initiate and build strategic customer relationships, and identify potential mergers or acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.
Responsibilities
Establish yourself as the Mobile AC expert in North America. Identify and lead with early adopters of HFO technology
Develop the NPI roadmap for your region and deliver on NPI commitments.
Investigate, recommend, and facilitate the formation of strong relationships with distributors and strategic customers.
Define and deploy the strategic plan to win in the target segments by developing a deep understanding of stakeholders’ unmet needs, and market trends affecting these needs today and, in the future, and identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to help shape customer requirements and objectives for future R&D opportunities and support building out the Offering Roadmap and the business case for investments.
Partner with Customer Marketing to support the strategic growth plans into practical sales playbooks, effective demand generation activities, and value-selling content
Collaborate with Sales Leadership, support target account plan development, lead an effective business development MOS, and drive prioritization of business opportunities and available internal resources.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of professional experience in sales in the Automotive Industry or adjacent industries
A proven track record in business acquisition, high value contract negotiation, selling technical solutions and articulating compelling value propositions

Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, electrical or mechanical engineering. MBA preferred.

PAY RANGE
The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - 180,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
