Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Healthcare Data Specialist, this person will be responsible for data collection from health plans related to Medicare or commercial insurance coverage. This role is crucial by acting as the liaison between health plans, and internal teams, facilitating communication and ensuring accurate implementation of data requirements. This person will be responsible for preforming quality assurance checks, maintaining documentation, and support change requests related to data needs. Collaboration is key, as the analyst will work closely with client-facing teams and provide escalation support for data-related issues. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced environments where problem-solving and teamwork are essential. Skills and Requirements
Healthcare experience related to health plans
Understanding of data inputs for any type of insurance coverage in the healthcare industry
Ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple formats
Proficiency in Excel: making formulas, pivot tables, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and report-writing skills Knowledge of data retrieval and storage systems - SQL
