Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based) – Flexible Schedule – Minooka Area, IL – 10-Week AssignmentPosition Overview:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides school-based speech and language services to students, including evaluations, therapy, and documentation in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders when applicable. This role supports students with communication needs and works collaboratively with educational teams in a highly flexible school setting.
Assignment Details:
Location: Minooka area, IL
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 29, 2026
Duration: Approximately 10 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday (extremely flexible)
Hours: Up to 35 hours per week
Modality: School-Based
Openings: 1 position
Schedule Flexibility: Open to 1–5 days per week, part-time or full-time
Details of Assignment:
Elementary population in a self-contained autism setting
Caseload of approximately 33–43 students
In-person services (virtual interview option available)
Daily schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Client interview required
Responsibilities:
Perform speech and language evaluations
Provide therapy services aligned with individualized plans of care
Document services and student progress accurately and timely
Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
Support student communication needs in academic settings
Comply with professional and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
CCC-SLP preferred and may be required based on state or contract
Prior school-based SLP experience required
Compliance with all professional standards of practice
CPR certification if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
