Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Morrilton, Arkansas, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial well-being of the organization by managing key accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and financial record management.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of account balances.
• Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online to manage and organize financial data.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking budgets while identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
• Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting necessary documentation.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting practices and tools to enhance operations. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in performing bank reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
