Make a difference as a Program Manager
The Program Manager will be the primary contact between RYMS and its customer(s). The Program Manager will ensure seamless communication between RYMS and its customers pertaining to product portfolio, schedule, RFQs, NPI launches, and any additional information needed to foster a deep, long lasting relationship.
Responsibilities
- Point of contact with customer and manages all requests and communication
- Interface with Production, Quality, Planning, and Shipping regarding work order status to ensure products are progressing on schedule
- Maintain accurate reports to the customer and to senior management.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of customer's product to reduce risk
- Maintain sales forecasts based on customer's purchase history and future plans with RYMS
- Responsible for properly costing the product to ensure sufficient margins and profitability
- Successfully manage the launch of new projects/parts by tracking stages of launch and interfacing with key members of Engineering and Manufacturing
- Monitor and promote accurate data entry in the MRP system
- Aids in the Submittal of Customer approval documentation per Customer PO requirements and follows up for closure to ensure product can ship in a timely manner.
Job Qualifications
- 5-10 Years of Sales or Manufacturing experience required
- Engineering Degree or other related BA/BS Degree required
- 3-5 Years of Project/Program Management preferred
- Familiarity with ITAR, FAR/DFARS, CMMC, AS9100, ISO13485 compliance preferred
- Familiarization with blueprints and tolerancing preferred.
- Extensive manufacturing knowledge ranging from machining, coatings (Chemfilm, Paint, Anodize, etc.), assembly, and various other special processes.
- Microsoft office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word) and overall mid to advanced level computer experience.
Position Requirements
You will be required to follow company established safety procedures. This individual must meet minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as follows: Snellen 14/18, 20/25 or better, Jaeger Type 2 at 14 inches, or Ortho-Rated 8. Last, but not least, for ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
