The LPS Associate Inventory Planner is responsible for interpreting, and executing inventory strategies that support merchandising initiatives, financial objectives, and customer needs across both stores and e-commerce. This role manages item- and category-level inventory plans, ensuring desired in-stock levels, efficient inventory turns, and optimal flow through Lowe's supply chain. The associate inventory planner serves as a subject matter expert on replenishment systems, analyzing data, anticipating pipeline issues, and driving root-cause resolution to improve service levels and inventory productivity. In partnership with merchants, suppliers, transportation, and distribution teams, this role ensures inventory strategies are effectively implemented while mentoring peers, supporting process improvements, and providing insights that influence business performance.

What You Will Do

• Maintain item- and category-level inventory plans for assigned product groups.

• Execute inventory tactics across physical locations and e-commerce.

• Support monthly forecast cycles, anticipating demand shifts and ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Monitor key performance metrics to direct inventory flows within capacity constraints.

• Collaborate with suppliers and replenishment teams to ensure accurate execution of inventory plans.

• Partner with merchants, vendors, distribution, and transportation to align inventory strategies.

• Provide customer service support through clear communication of inventory strategies and decisions.

• Conduct trend and performance analyses to develop actionable insights.

• Monitor business results, identify risks, and recommend solutions to achieve sales and financial objectives.

• Report key changes, challenges, and mitigation plans to leadership in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, replenishment, or supply chain operations. Experience managing replenishment systems, analyzing data, and leading process improvements.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to interpret and present inventory data effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

• Proficiency in inventory and replenishment systems.
