Your impact:
We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to use your vast experience in the industry and apply it to solving today’s challenges. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of skills as part of integrated building services design. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, managing client expectations, scope, budget and schedule.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead development of electrical power distribution systems, including medium and low voltage equipment, Motor Control Centers, transformers and protective relaying. You will produce and review engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams, load studies, arc flash analysis, grounding design and equipment specifications. You will be responsible for ensuring designs comply with industry standards such as NFPA and NEC and oversee the integration of electrical systems with process equipment drives instrumentations and mill automation platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer license
At least 10 years of experience in engineering design within the Pulp & Paper market.
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), and IEEE standards.
Experience with Protective Relaying and Power System Studies
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Passionate about the pulp and paper industry
