Job Title: Degreaser Operator
Location: Montvale, NJ
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $18 an hour
Position Overview
The Degreaser Operator is responsible for operating degreasing systems to clean stamped metal parts and ensure they meet customer quality standards. This role supports the production process by properly cleaning, inspecting, and preparing parts for downstream manufacturing operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to operate various types of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate degreasing equipment to clean stamped metal parts according to production and quality standards
Inspect parts to ensure cleanliness and compliance with customer specifications
Load and unload parts into degreasing systems and manage workflow efficiently
Monitor equipment operation and report any issues or maintenance needs
Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating machinery
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with preparing parts for the next stage of the manufacturing process
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Work Environment
Manufacturing / production floor environment
Exposure to machinery and cleaning systems
Must follow proper safety and PPE guidelines
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
