We are currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to join our team in Montpelier, Vermont (US-VT), United States (US).
NTT DATA is currently looking for a Windows Systems Administrator to work on projects for our client in Montpelier, Vermont. This is a 100% on-site position in Montpelier.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Systems Engineer (Windows required and Linux preferred)
Active Directory On-Prem and Azure Entra ID
Provide tier 3 support for all server supported applications
Operational knowledge of Server Class systems (Linux/Windows)
Strong understanding of and experience with virtualization technologies
Knowledge of IIS, Microsoft 365, ADFS, DFS, and Entra ID integration w/M365
Knowledge of deploying various windows server architectures, including multiple domain controller networks, Windows clustering, remote desktop services
Knowledge of deploying various virtual and physical server configurations
Knowledge of physical and virtual hardware, software and application monitoring
Practical experience with backup and recovery software and methodologies
Knowledge of monitoring with Opsramp and New Relic
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of Windows Engineer experience including:
Active Directory support and maintenance
Server application support
PowerShell Scripting experience
VMware administration
Preferred Skills:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Linux
Azure
Must be able to work independently with little supervision both onsite
Must be able to set own direction in ongoing day to day operations and migration projects
Must be able to work alongside onsite and remote team providing senior level direction
Must handle multiple tasks and projects with various levels of priority
Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
ITIL and ITSM Knowledge, Service Now a plus
Must be able to relate technical communications issues clearly, both orally and in writing to non-technical individuals
Must able to provide measurable customer satisfaction and quality service
Willing to learn and able to adapt to new technology
