Reports to: Technical Operation Managers
Supervises: 2nd Shift Clean Crew associates
Position Summary:
This 2nd shift position is responsible for supervising day-to-day Clean Crew activities to ensure paint booths and paint-line areas are cleaned and maintained to specification, on schedule, and in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements. The supervisor assigns work, trains and coaches associates, inspects completed work, and communicates issues, needs, and improvement opportunities to Technical Operations leadership.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, assign, and direct daily clean-up activities for all paint-line and booth areas per clean-up schedules and production needs
· Supervise, train, and coach Clean Crew associates on standard work, cleaning specifications, and safe work practices (including Lockout/Tagout)
· Inspect work for completeness and quality; verify areas meet specifications before returning equipment/areas to service
· Coordinate cleaning around production schedules to minimize downtime and support throughput goals
· Ensure proper use, care, and basic troubleshooting of cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums, scrapers) and request maintenance/repairs as needed
· Maintain supplies and materials (e.g., wipes, solvents/approved cleaners, PPE); monitor inventory and communicate needs
· Promote and enforce safety rules, PPE requirements, housekeeping standards, and environmental controls related to paint and cleaning operations
· Lead shift start-up communication and escalate any issues (quality, equipment, safety, staffing) to the appropriate support teams and leadership
· Document completion of scheduled cleanings, inspections, and any corrective actions; ensure required checklists are accurate and up to date
· Support continuous improvement efforts (5S/housekeeping, waste reduction, standard work) and participate in audits as needed
· Participate in IATF and Quality Policy training and awareness programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year
