Aerotek Machine Operator in Montoursville, Pennsylvania
Machine Operator – CNC Mills & Lathes (1st Shift | $16–$18/hr)
Join a family‑owned, local machine shop as a Machine Operator and become part of a tight‑knit team producing high‑quality components for automotive, electronics, military, and other precision‑driven industries. This is a stable, weekday, daytime role in a friendly and supportive environment.
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience
Casual shop environment (no steel‑toed boots required)
Responsibilities
Operate CNC mills and lathes efficiently
Set up machines for various production runs
Assist with programming and interpret G & M codes
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Essential Skills
Hands‑on experience with CNC mills and lathes
Basic machine setup and operation knowledge
Familiarity with G & M coding
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a CNC operator or machinist
Ability to work well in a small team setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montoursville, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
