Project Manager II
Location: Monticello, MN and/or Prairie Island, MN | Contract | Fully Onsite
Pay: $40–$65/hr

Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead multimillion‑dollar capital projects at two critical nuclear generating sites. This role offers hands‑on project ownership, high visibility with leadership, and the opportunity to support long‑term plant and license strategies in a collaborative, safety‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead capital projects from planning through execution (scope, schedule, budget)
Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams
Develop estimates, manage vendors and contracts, and lead weekly project meetings
Track project costs, manage risks, and support authorization approvals
Perform plant walkdowns and field observations
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of end‑to‑end project management experience
Experience managing $1M+ projects
Strong knowledge of SAP, Primavera (P6), MS Project, and related tools
Nuclear experience strongly preferred
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred
Preferred
PMP certification
ABET‑accredited degree
Finance or cost‑control experience
Ex‑Navy nuclear experience
SRO certification or license
Work Environment
Collaborative team of 32 professionals
Mix of desk work and plant/field observation
Standard hours most of the year; 60+ hrs/week during outages

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
