Seeking to hire Machine Operators located in the Montgomeryville, PA area for a FULL TIME job opportunity. The machine operators will be responsible for preparing tubing and piping frames, bending the material to the specific dimentions, and following specific instructions for the order being worked on . Having prior assembly or machine operating experience would be required, working in a manufacturing/ production environments, comfortabel with measuring and using a tape measure, and having a general mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities
Read pick sheets to pull necessary parts and materials for the setup production process.
Read a tape measure and understand degrees for proper pipe bending.
Bend tubes and flare pipe ends to ensure proper fit and weldability.
Place finished components and pipes into frames to ensure proper fit for the welding line.
Ensure consistent bends and correct flares in depth.
Break down finished frames/jigs and load them into carts for the welding department.
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Essential Skills
Mechanically inclined with good measurement skills.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment.
Ability to read a tape measure and understand degrees for pipe bending.
Experience in machine operating, measuring, and pipe bending.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomeryville, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
