The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional formulates and defines systems, objectives based on both user needs. You have a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes considering system capabilities and limitations, operating time, and results. You validate benefits achieved from solution implementation to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Although this is not a leadership role you will exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and the approach to assignments.

This role will have a specific focus on supporting finance reports within the Oracle ecosystems, both Oracle Cloud Fusion (ERP & FDI) and Oracle EBS, and all related subledgers. This role will understand business needs, care for requirements, and work closely with Tech on report delivery for Finance customers.

Responsibilities

  • Formulates and defines systems and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.

  • Devises or modifies procedures and processes to address complex problems, considering system capabilities, limitations, operating time, and desired outcomes.

  • Validates the benefits achieved from implemented solutions.

  • Begins to influence the department's strategy through recommendations and insights.

  • Moderately complex to complex issues regarding the technical approach for project components, performing work independently.

  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

  • Specializes in supporting finance reports within Oracle ecosystems, including Oracle Cloud Fusion (ERP & FDI), Oracle EBS, and related subledgers.

  • You understand business needs, requirements, and collaborates with technical teams to deliver reports for Finance customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5 + years of technical experience

  • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation

  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle

  • Experience in problem analysis and process

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences

  • Can work anywhere in the continental USA working EST zone hours, 8am-5pm.

  • Weekends may be needed for projects or production support.

Preferred

  • MBA or another Advanced Degree

  • Six Sigma certification

  • PMP certification

  • Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering

Work at Home Guidance

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can only be used if leadership approves it.

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet our requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

  • Can work anywhere in the continental USA working EST zone hours, 8am-5pm.

  • Weekends may be needed for projects or production support.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$80,900 - $110,300 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
