Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on installing, wiring, and commissioning electrical systems for machinery in a clean, climate-controlled environment. You will work closely with engineers and project leaders to interpret electrical schematics, route and secure conduit and cable, and ensure all installations meet code and layout requirements while resolving issues that arise during installation and startup.
Responsibilities
Install and connect electrical wiring to machinery in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes.
Route and secure conduit, cable trays, and wiring based on layout and code requirements to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics and blueprints to complete accurate installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and electrical issues during installation and commissioning of equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to coordinate work, clarify technical details, and ensure timely and accurate installations.
Perform conduit installation and conduit bending as required for each project.
Verify proper operation of electrical systems, including AC/DC motor controls and 480V wiring, and make adjustments as needed.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience installing and connecting electrical wiring to machinery.
Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
Demonstrated ability to route and secure conduit, cable trays, and wiring to meet layout and code requirements.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving electrical and wiring issues during installation and commissioning.
Practical experience wiring and working with 480-volt systems.
Knowledge of AC/DC motor controls and related components.
Mechanical aptitude to support electrical installations on machinery.
Ability to perform conduit installation and conduit bending.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electronics or electromechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing electrical issues.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
Attention to detail and commitment to following safety standards and electrical codes.
Capability to read and understand technical documentation and layouts.

The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $61000.00/yr.
