CBRE Finance Analyst-Construction Project Management in Montgomery, Alabama
About the Role
The Finance Analyst supports finance operations for ProjectManagement teams leading commercial construction projects. The Analyst will setup clients and vendors on our D365 ERP platform to allow for accurate andtimely financial operations and invoicing.
This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operationsjob function responsible for maintaining contracts, cost controls, and project financialoperations.
What You’ll Do
Set up clients and vendors onour D365 ERP platform
Complete accountingtransactions in preparation of client financial statement packages.
Create and post journalentries and ensure that all expenses, receipts, owner's distributions, fundingrequests, and other transactions for the accounting period have been accuratelyposted.
Use aggregate data frommultiple sources to generate reports.
Generate financial packagesfor accuracy and comprehensive reporting.
Review the accuracy ofinformation provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
Understand and work withscenario planning (exit/maintain/grow) tools/models, while analyzing trends ingeneral business conditions.
Respond to and resolve issuesand requests from management teams and clients regarding various accountingissues and reports.
Research open accountingissues and recognize potential issues and conflicts so corrective action canintercept and minimize issues.
Use existing procedures tosolve standard problems.
Have some knowledge ofstandard principles with limited practice experience in applying them.
Lead by example and modelbehaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence)values.
Impact the quality of ownwork.
Work within standardizedprocedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforwardinformation, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What You’ll Need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of D365 or similar ERP platform strongly desired.
Experience in client and vendor management is beneficial.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $75,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
