Job Summary:
You will be working with the Energy Application Verification and Validation Team. The team supports Software Verification utilizing Hardware in the Loop testing and Software in the Loop testing for engine products and electrification products. Product groups that the team supports ranges from Caterpillar Machines such as Large Mining Trucks, Underground mining, Wheeled Loaders, and Excavation to Commercial Product such as Marine, Electric Power, and Industrial engines. The role will be a Electronic Systems Verification & Validation Engineer that creates and utilizes both Hardware in the Loop testing and Software in the Loop testing to verify software meets customer requirements.
What the candidate will do:
Software Validation/Verification for Electronic Systems: Verify functionality of a feature or control system algorithm on a HIL [ Hardware in the Loop] simulator bench or a SIL [Software in the loop] system.
Understand requirements of the feature and/or the schematics of the controller/control system
Verify functionality
Debug/report anomalies to the development team
Validate fixes
Develop test procedures
Test library management
Support Automation
Education requirement
Bachelor's degree related to field is required.
Conversational English is required.

Additional Information:
The location for this position is Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Must be willing to travel 15% of the time. Domestically and internationally
Domestic relocations is not available.
Work schedule: Monday – Friday (7am - 16:00pm).
