Actalent Electrical Engineer in Monrovia, California

Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the development of printed circuit boards supporting the automotive and electric vehicle industry. This role will focus on hardware development throughout the entire product lifecycle, including power electronics design, embedded system integration, and communication with customers to understand and meet their requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop printed circuit boards for automotive and electric vehicle applications.

  • Lead hardware development through the entire product lifecycle.

  • Design power electronics and integrate embedded systems.

  • Communicate with customers to gather and fulfill requirements.

  • Conduct circuit analysis and EMI testing.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Altium for schematic capture and circuit analysis.

  • Experience with oscilloscopes and other lab test equipment.

  • 8+ years of hardware development experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive or electric vehicle industry is preferred.

  • Experience with power electronics up to 11KW is preferred.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a lab environment using various test equipment. The team currently comprises three Electrical Engineers. Opportunities exist to support a growing market, with leadership opportunities available for those seeking career growth.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monrovia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $74.00/hr.
