Location:Monroeville, Pennsylvania Job Title:Experienced Electrical / Computer Engineer Status:Full-time Professional Annual Salary Range:$97,700 - $170,720 *Salary commensurate with education and experience. Job Summary As an Electrical / Computer Engineer at BPMI, you will be a technical project engineer responsible for the development of nuclear reactor instrumentation and control systems, power distribution systems, or related devices beginning with system concept and continuing through the end of system life. Essential Duties: Lead preparation of system performance and test specifications. Leadefforts for verification and approval of supplier designs. Engineering follow through manufacturing, test, and installation to ensure projects meet schedule and budget. Provide technical oversight to ensure resolution of fielded equipment problems. Communicate extensively with customer and supplier personnel. Mentorand train lower-level employees. A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience with electrical instrumentation, control, and/or power conversion equipment. Previous experience should include experience in one or more of the following areas:electricalsystem design and integration;embedded systemdesign;analogandordigital circuit design; solid-state power conversion. Requires a security clearance;however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.
