Job Title: Quality Supervisor

Job Description

As a Quality Supervisor, you will oversee and enforce all food safety, sanitation, and quality programs across production, warehousing, and distribution. You will maintain HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI compliance and serve as the site's food safety authority, with the ability to halt production when food safety risks are identified. You will also review, maintain, and improve policies, procedures, SOPs, and SSOPs, conduct routine inspections, audits, and verifications to ensure compliance and effectiveness of programs, and act as a primary liaison between operations, sanitation, contractors, supply chain, and leadership teams to drive accountability and alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enforce all food safety, sanitation, and quality programs across production, warehousing, and distribution.

  • Maintain HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI compliance and serve as the site’s food safety authority, including the ability to stop production when food safety risks are identified.

  • Review, maintain, and improve policies, procedures, SOPs, and SSOPs.

  • Conduct routine inspections, audits, and verifications to ensure compliance and effectiveness of programs.

  • Act as a primary liaison between operations, sanitation, contractors, supply chain, and leadership teams to drive accountability and alignment.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, third-party warehouses, and corporate partners.

  • Promote a culture of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.

  • Manage post-lethality controls, including zoning, traffic patterns, hygienic design, and sanitation practices.

  • Lead the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP), including sampling, swabbing, trending, corrective actions, and verification activities.

  • Oversee product sampling and testing activities, including work performed in production-adjacent sampling areas.

  • Manage and maintain the Positive Release Program through the ERP system (WarehouseBOS / NewBoss).

  • Verify sanitation effectiveness through inspections, testing, and documentation review.

  • Oversee pest control programs and corrective action follow-up.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of Quality Management/Supervision within a GMP environment.

  • Experience in Food Quality Supervision and quality management.

  • Proficiency in data entry.

  • Knowledge of food safety and quality assurance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to manage post-lethality controls, including zoning, traffic patterns, hygienic design, and sanitation practices.

  • Proficiency in leading Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP), including sampling, swabbing, trending, corrective actions, and verification activities.

  • Experience in overseeing product sampling and testing activities.

This is a Permanent position based out of Monroe, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
