We are seeking a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level III Engineer for our Monroe, NC facility. A successful Non Destructive Testing Engineer III provides overall oversight of NDT programs by managing training, certification, and auditing; supporting daily NDT operations; developing and approving testing methods; ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and government standards; leading UT certification efforts; and supporting the calibration and upkeep of NDT equipment.
Essential Functions(other duties may be assigned)
Administer the training, examination, and certification programs for all NDT disciplines Level I and Level II inspectors, Trainees, and Level III.
Provide technical support and performance monitoring for the day-to-day operations of NDT personnel, along with supporting certification and product engineering groups.
Develop, qualify, and approve test method procedures, results and techniques for NDT.
Ensure compliance of testing activities with Customer, Industry, and Government specifications and standards.
Independently perform internal and external auditing requirements
Appointed UT lead for customer certifications
Support calibration and maintenance of NDT instrumentation.
