Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based | Virtual or In-Person

Location: Monroe, MI

Schedule: Full-Time (In-Person or Virtual Options Available)

Compensation: $50/hr + Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K)

Assignment: Remainder of the School Year w/ potential for next school year

Setting: Educational Center (Students Ages 3–26)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support students at a school in Monroe, MI. This role covers a leave for the remainder of the school year and offers the flexibility to work in-person or virtually.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, deliver direct therapy, and document services in accordance with each student’s individualized plan of care and physician orders. You'll work with a diverse caseload of learners ages 3 to 26, making a meaningful difference in communication, functional skills, and student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students ages 3–26.

  • Provide individual and group therapy aligned with each student’s treatment plan.

  • Document services, progress, and recommendations accurately and timely.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized goals.

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.

  • Deliver services in compliance with all professional, state, and district standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Michigan SLP License (must be active by start date).

  • CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by contract or state.

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

  • Must comply with all state, federal, and district requirements.

  • CPR certification (if applicable).

  • TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray) if required.

  • Current health certificate if required by state/contract.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
