The Packaging Engineering Analyst will work collaboratively with our engineering team to support damage reduction initiatives and to streamline packaging specification initiatives.
What You'll Do...
Maintenance of global standards and the GSPPS global spec system
Support of the CDI Engineering team
Help drive packaging spec delays for New Model parts
Support carton rationalization initiatives
The development and implementation of damage reduction initiatives
Identification of ways to drive packaging efficiency at the packagers and implementation of new packaging materials and methods
Identification of new opportunities for automation
Pulling, analyzing, and reporting out on critical metrics.
Work with Operations and Continuous Improvement teams at MPC to identify efficiencies.
You'll have...
BA/BS Degree or higher required
2+ years of experience as a packaging engineer in a manufacturing environment
Experience using Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Ability to display data-driven decision-making
Even better, you'll have...
A packaging engineering degree is preferred
Experience using Alteryx is highly preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, take ownership, and drive results
Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Creative thinking - synthesize concepts into a cohesive and actionable strategy

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440., This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360., This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
