MONA CITY RECREATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR in MONA, Utah
*Duties are as follows: *
· Plan and coordinate recreational and community events and activities that meet the
diverse needs of the community and appeal to a wide range of ages, interests, and backgrounds
· Collaborate with the Mona City Youth Council on their community programs and events
· Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, businesses, and community groups
· Coordinate with parks and facilities teams on maintenance and scheduling needs
· Other duties as assigned.
*An ideal candidate will have: *
· Working knowledge of the rules and regulations of a variety of recreational activities or
willingness to learn to skills as needed
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to build partnerships within the community
· Experience planning and coordinating events
· Basic budgeting and financial tracking experience
· Valid Utah Driver's license
· Leadership experience preferred but not required
