Job Title: Material Handler Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for the material handling, loading, and unloading of trucks, including side curtains, inside of semi-trucks, and other flatbeds. This role requires comfort in lifting up to 5 feet in high-traffic areas. The position supports plant operations by managing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventory and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring that critical equipment remains operational through accurate inventory control, purchasing support, and coordination with maintenance and plant leadership.
Responsibilities
Handle materials and load/unload trucks, including side curtains and flatbeds.
Support plant operations by managing MRO inventory and BOMs.
Maintain accurate inventory control and provide purchasing support.
Coordinate with maintenance and plant leadership to ensure equipment remains operational.
Maintain inventory of MRO supplies for office and plant operations.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
Process purchasing of non-material plant items and maintain procurement records.
Verify, log, and file packing slips for received goods.
Support Plant Safety Committee activities, meetings, and action-item tracking.
Provide inventory support to plant operations and Plant Manager.
Assist with planning and coordination of plant activities and employee events.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
