We are looking for a Agricultural Products (Crop Protection/Seed) Retail Account Manager to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Sioux Falls, SD or Fargo, ND or Western MN.

We’re looking for a professional like you to act as the face of BASF in the field to promote BASF products and services to increase BASF sales and increase BASF market share at selected key agricultural retail accounts. Focus areas will include BASF Crop Protection, Xitavo soybean seed, InVigor canola seed, xarvio digital, Seed Treatments & Inoculants, and Services.

Working to achieve a sales target and managing associated budgets.
Being a leader in the local BASF sales team to drive actions that create sales. This includes sharing best practices of value-based selling techniques to other Business Reps to foster a “copy with pride” mindset on how to manage other OUs and sell BASF products.
Coordinating across U.S. Crop regions/districts so BASF maximizes our investment.
Embedding into the customer’s business to better serve their needs across a wide range of technologies and customer growth fields. For example, you will develop sales roadmaps for consistent sales growth and increased share of wallet.
Relying on the key retail account as part of a “sounding board” and center of expertise for market intelligence such as competitive activity, market trends, emerging needs and emerging opportunities.
If you...
Have a Bachelor's degree and 10 years’ experience selling to large corporate accounts. MBA is a plus.
Possess valuable selling, negotiation and analytical skills.
Have strong communication skills and the ability to identify key influencers and decision makers.
Demonstrate strong thinking skills on behalf of the business.
Can travel up 50% of the time domestically and live within the geographic territory.
