Department Overview The Human Resources department at Children's partners with the employees and the managerial staff to provide services such as recruitment and staffing, employee services (benefit, compensation, retirement, and payroll processing), labor relations, HRIS program development and implementation, and organizational development. Position Summary This position is a key partner in filling open positions at Children's Minnesota. This role is the primary point of contact with all applicants and candidates ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the recruitment process and is responsible for screening resumes, phone interviewing, and the processing of internal churn and all pre-employment requirements. This position is remote and reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager. *2 years directly related HR experience, to include hands on recruiting. *Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent work experience. In lieu of degree, three years of administrative/Human Resources/recruiting related experience. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. *Ability to evaluate resumes and identify key qualifications and experiences. *Proficiency in conducting effective phone screens and communicating with candidates and hiring managers. *Capability to manage the pre-employment process, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently. *Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers. *Ensuring accuracy in resume reviews, phone screens, and documentation. *Effective prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. *Effective problem solving, process improvement and troubleshooting skills. *Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and comfort managing multiple systems. *Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee's scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
