PLUS Communications Project Coordinator in Missoula, Montana
Peak Insights, a PLUS Communications company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our public opinion research team. This role works closely with Project Managers to assist in the day-to-day execution of research projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of reports and data.
The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in preparing research deliverables, checking data accuracy, conducting background research, and supporting project operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in public opinion research, politics, policy, or data analysis who enjoys working with data and communicating insights clearly.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with the daily management and execution of research projects
Support the preparation of client deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers
Create and format client-ready reports and presentations
Conduct data proofing and quality checks to ensure accuracy across reports and deliverables
Review and proof cross-tabulated data tables and other research outputs
Prepare PowerPoint presentations that outline and visually present survey findings
Create data tables and assist with data visualization and graphing of research results
Conduct secondary research, including voter file and voter history analysis, candidate research, district demographic analysis, background research relevant to research projects
Compile and organize research findings for internal use
Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
1–3 years of administrative, coordination, or project support experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with PowerPoint
Strong research skills, including the ability to identify relevant data sources, gather needed information, and summarize findings clearly and concisely for internal teams and project managers
Excellent proofreading and quality control skills
Ability to interpret and present data clearly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
