Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Kitchen Assistant:
Kitchen Assistant- cooking, cooking from scratch, prepping food, dish washing, serving, etc.
Prepare, cook, and season meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
Assist with prep work, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
Ensure food is prepared to the appropriate temperature and quality standards
Serve meals to residents in a friendly, timely, and respectful manner
Assist residents with special food requests within dietary restrictions
Maintain a clean and organized serving area
Comply with health department guidelines and facility policies
Report any safety hazards or equipment concerns promptly

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
Prior experience as a cook, grill cook, food preparer, or server (experience in senior living or healthcare setting preferred but not required)
Understanding of food safety and proper kitchen sanitation
