Installed Building Products Foam Insulation Installer in Missoula / Missoula, Montana

Job Description: Pay: $25-$30/hour (based on experience)Full-time | Steady work | Room to move upWhat Your Day Looks LikeYou'll start early, either meeting at the shop or heading directly to the jobsite. After loading materials and completing a quick safety check, the crew gets to work. You'll apply spray foam insulation to walls, ceilings, attics, and other designated areasYou'll be working in a variety of conditions, depending on the job site and season, with safety procedures and proper equipment in place. You'll work until the job is done and then head home.Who You'll Work WithYou'll be part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman. Team members look out for one another, work safely, and take pride in doing the job right. If you show up on time and follow safety guidelines, you'll feel supported and welcomed.What you'll be doing:Safely and efficiently install spray foam insulation following project specifications and industry standardsPrepare job sites by protecting surfaces and setting up equipmentOperate and maintain spray foam equipment, including spray guns, hoses, and compressorsMeasure and mix chemicals accurately to achieve the desired foam consistencyEnsure proper coverage and thickness of the insulation for maximum energy efficiency and performanceMonitor and adjust equipment settings as needed to achieve optimal foam applicationFollow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelinesMaintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipmentCollaborate with the project team to meet project deadlines and quality standardsWhat we are looking for:Reliable transportationExperience as a Spray Foam Applicator or similar roleKnowledge of spray foam insulation materials, equipment, and application techniquesUnderstanding of safety procedures and best practices in handling chemicals and equipmentAbility to read and interpret project plans and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work with precisionStrong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditionsEffective communication and teamwork skillsA valid driver's license is required for tasks involving the transportation of equipment or travel between sitesRelevant certifications and licenses (e.g., OSHA certification, spray foam applicator certification) are preferred but not mandatoryThe Physical Side (So You Know What to Expect)This is active, hands-on work. You'll be moving, lifting, climbing, and working in a variety of conditions, including heat, cold, or dusty environments. We provide training, proper equipment, and follow safety standards.
