Quality Assurance, Sr Manager
As a Quality Assurance Sr Manager you will utilize your leadership skills and technical expertise in supervisory/managerial capacity to provide quality programs which incorporate Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
Location: Mississauga, ON
Salary: $110,000 to $160,00

Your Challenge:
Ensure all employees perform their work according to the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure that all quality programs, initiatives and commitments are maintained and enhanced where possible.
Sustain ISO 9001:2015 accreditation through periodic assessments, training, and compliance management.
Achieve annual quality objectives while remaining within budgetary limits.
Lead in the development and implementation of Root Cause Analysis program, designed to reduce the number of NC’s and customer complaints.
Key team contributor to LEAN/Continuous Improvement and Cost of Quality programs.
Revise and improve company procedures and processes, conduct QA and configuration audits on specific projects, and qualify new suppliers.
Annual Internal Auditing of company procedures.
Provide career development for department staff in a team oriented atmosphere.
Participates in proposal reviews to ensure customer quality requirements can be met.
Takes every reasonable precaution to protect the health and safety of direct reports including the:
Establishment of safe work procedures.
Education of staff and the orientation of new workers.
Appointment of competent supervision.
Performance of frequent workplace inspections.
Immediate reporting of accidents and incidents and participation in their investigations.
Initiation of action required to correct substandard conditions.
What You Bring:
At least 5 years in supervising a quality department in a defense or aerospace manufacturing company.
Excellent communication skills, plus the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment.
In depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and military specifications.
Ability to create results through customer responsiveness and continuous process improvement.
LEAN/Six Sigma working knowledge and practical experience.
Generate training materials and programs as required, and conduct training sessions to support quality system.
University or College graduate specializing in engineering and business administration.
