Job Summary

ACCO Brands is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A , to join the North America Finance team. This role reports to the VP, Finance US C&OP and Canada and acts as a business partner to the N.A. Sales, Marketing and Operations teams along with other areas of Finance. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting financial activities including analysis, outlooking and process improvements to help the business make well-informed decisions. This person will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and thrive in a dynamic workplace. They will be motivated self-starter who can excel in both an independent and team-oriented environment. This position is hybrid, working from our Mississauga, Ontario (Canada) location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead reporting and analytics of Gross Sales and Net Standard Gross Profit, by customer, channel, product category and brand.

  • Actively partner and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain on sales outlooks.

  • Participate in prepartation of forecasts and budgets as a part of a multi-disciplined team within the North America segment.

  • Perform monthly analysis of financial performance, including review of month-end metrics compared with budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.

  • Support Weekly forecast reporting by reviewing input, reconciling variances and confirming accuracy.

  • Monitor margin performance and identify variances to trends and expectations.

  • Provide tracking of Sales compensation plans and quota attainment thru collaboration with Sales Administration.

  • Enhance cross-functional collaboration and provide new business analytics to help leadership make well-informed decisions.

  • Investigate data issues and execute strong recommendations and resolutions.

  • Respond to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, decision support, or commercial analytics, preferably in consumer products or CPG organization.

  • Strong financial skills, including experience with forecasting and margin analysis.

  • Detail-orientated, hardworking and a team player.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner.

  • Experience working with Power BI and Tableau to create and maintain dashboards and reports connected to governed data models.

  • Advanced Excel skills – strong ability to understand data structures, manipulate large volumes of data, build models, and generate insights.

  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain.

  • Solid ability to support change and impart value within an organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000
