Honeywell Sr. Electronic Hardware Engineer – Project engineering in Mississauga, Ontario
As a Sr Advanced Project Engineer (Sr. Electronic Hardware Engineer – Project engineering) here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading advanced engineering projects that drive innovation and enhance our product offerings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring the successful execution of engineering initiatives.
You will report directly to our Director Engineering and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location.
In this role, you will impact the success of our engineering projects by providing technical expertise, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Your contributions will help position Honeywell as a leader in the aerospace industry, delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support development of Electronic Hardware for Electric Power aerospace applications by providing Technical Leadership, performing project planning, and managing execution over the complete design lifecycle (concept to entry in production and service).
Lead and manage advanced engineering projects from concept to completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges.
Schedule and Milestone development and management.
Cost Estimation and management
Build customer relationships
Risk and Opportunity development and management
Act as the key Engineering supplier and customer interface
Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives
Manage and control subcontractor performance implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve commitments
Coordinate build and test of engineering hardware
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of related Engineering experience including 2 or more years of experience in a Project Engineering role.

Ability to creatively resolve issues through evaluation of technical data and risk assessments
PMP Certification desirable
The salary for this position is starting from $100,000 in Mississauga, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
