ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Expert - Reporting and Analytics to join our team and support our newly implemented SAP Analytics Cloud Platform.This role will be tasked with developing dashboards, visualizations, grid-style reports, and other types of deliverables in SAC.This role will interact with team members throughout North America and may work in a remote or hybrid fashion depending on the applicant's preference.SAP Analytics Cloud is our visualization front-end that is integrated with Datasphere, our main data warehousing platform.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
Design, build, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and grid-style reports in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Implement scripting, where necessary, to provide a clean and crisp user experience for deliverables in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Partner and build rapport with key stakeholders across North America to solve complex business problems.
Gain an understanding of various product segments to develop standardized reports for Cross-Functional use.
Serve as SME for the SAP Analytics Cloud platform.
Communicate data modeling and data schema requirements to the Datasphere developers and support team members.
Stay up to date on changes in SAP Analytics Cloud software via the SAP Product Roadmap and relevant trainings.
Maintain an understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to create and validate necessary calculations.
Proactively identify potential issues or areas for enhancement to maintain Best Demonstrated Practice.
Ensure all deliverables are developed with accuracy, performance, and scalability in mind
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree or 8 to 10 years of equivalent experience.
Preferred Field of Study: Information Technology, Analytics, Data, Finance/Accounting, or related field.
Experience: 8 to 10 years of required work experience.
Technical Skills: Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Datasphere, SAP BPC, SAP Business Objects, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, SQL, Python, Scripting, APIs, JSON, and SAP HANA Databases.
Additional Requirements:
Highly visible senior role requiring independence and the ability to make decisions using expertise.
Strong knowledge of BI, Data Warehousing, and best practices including SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and scripting.
Experience working with Datasphere, BW HANA, or other data warehousing platforms.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
